Sculptor Vaclovas Krutis has built monumental sculptures in public spaces, created tombstones, forged, carved, and cast chamber and small plastic works. According to the nature of the image, there are two main directions in the artist's work - figurative and abstract, which are closely related to each other. The connection between the beginning of intellectual and emotional creation is evident in constructions of various sizes, whose geometric shapes embody complex logical structures. The author of the text is Rita Mikučionytė (there is a summary in English), compiled by dr. Danutė Zovienė. In 2008 the book was awarded the prize of the Lithuanian Artists' Association in the Lithuanian Book Art Competition.
