The album Feliksas Jakubauskas (2007) introduces the work of one of the most recognized Lithuanian contemporary textile artists in the world. His tapestries have been exhibited abroad many times, awarded or otherwise celebrated in the most important textile and applied art forums and publications. In 1998, the artist's work was awarded the National Culture and Art Prize. The author of the text of the book is dr. prof. Raminta Jurėnaitė. According to her, there are many parallels with modern painting and sculpture in the work of Feliksas Jakubauskas, but he still focuses on details, textures, and materials. The book seeks to reveal this. Dr. Rūta Pileckaitė, an art critic, also writes about the artist's work in the book. The appendices contain information about the artist's personal exhibitions, participation in joint exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad, as well as a bibliography and a list of works reproduced in the book, in summary in English.
