Algimantas Patamsis - 1979 graduated from ceramics studies at Lithuanian State Art Institute (now Vilnius Art Academy). Since 1979 he participates in exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad. Since 1985 he is member of the Lithuanian Union of Artists. Algimantas is one of those rare contemporary ceramicists who decorates his works with crystal glaze. One of the few in the world, where up to several hundred "crystal alchemists" are counted. Having started participating in exhibitions since 1979. Presented his unique works to art connoisseurs and fans both in Lithuania and abroad, today A. Patamsis is regarded as one of the best connoisseurs of ceramic technology and as a unique artist. In 2005 ceramist participated with his artworks in the first international exhibition of crystal glazes "Crystallines 2005", held in Vallauris, France. in 2013 - at exhibition of the international congress "Crystallines 2013" in Spain, in La Bisbal d Emporda.
