Henrikas Orakauskas – born in 1948, in Vyžuonos (Utena district). 1974 graduated from the technical school of applied arts in Telšiai, majoring in artistic metalworking. 1974-1980 worked at Vilnius Monuments Restoration company. He was awarded the highest category of restorer metallurgist for renovation of altars of St. John's Church. Member of Lithuanian Artists Union since 2001. In 2005 he granted status of artist.
Sculptor can be called muse of Kupiškis' art space. More than 20 artworks of Henrikas Orakauskas decorate this city. Currently, artist lives and creates in Kernave.
